NSW Research Networks

The NSW Government, through the Research Attraction and Acceleration Program, has established research networks in areas of strategic importance, existing research and industry strength, and with a need for greater capability in NSW.

The network model was developed by the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer to establish the NSW Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) in 2016, and was then used as the basis for the launch of the NSW Defence Innovation Network (DIN) in 2017.

The NSW Circular Economy Network (NSW Circular) was launched in October 2019.
