NSW Chief Scientist and Engineer to review CSG activities in NSW

On 19 February 2013 the NSW Premier announced that he has requested the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer to conduct an independent review of all coal seam gas (CSG) activities in NSW, with a focus on the impacts of these activities on human health and the environment.

The Review will consider a comprehensive range of issues related to CSG activities and provide independent advice to the government and the public informed by a rigorous evidence-based platform of work.
